riding
The diverse and dramatic rural landscape around Welshpool provides a great opportunity for those with a passion for outdoor pursuits.
A great way to see the countryside is by horseback, whether it is a pleasurable trek to absorb the scenery or for the more adventurous rider, hacking offers the chance to test your skills.

A more exhilarating way of travel, quad trekking is also available in the area offering an excellent opportunity for all the family to take in hillside views, wildlife and points of interest. Rough terrain and wooded areas provide the opportunity for more adventurous routes.

Around Welshpool, there are also designated areas for shooting and fishing, more of which you can find out about on your arrival, by contacting the Welshpool Tourist Information Centre 01938 552043.
